Stinky Tofu (臭豆腐/ Chou Dou Fu)

We think stinky tofu is a snack in Taiwan, but it does smell bad. However, it tastes crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and if you like spicy food, you can have the vendor add a little chili powder.

Fried Mushrooms (杏鮑菇/ Sing Bao Gu)

Fried mushrooms have become popular in Taiwanese night markets. These stalls provide many kinds of mushrooms. And, there are many flavors you can choose from, and every flavor has a different taste.

Spicy Duck Blood (麻辣鴨血/ Ma La Ya Sie)

Duck blood is soft and chewy. It does not taste like duck blood soup, and it does not have a fishy smell. If you aren't afraid of eating it, you can try it.
